I'm Alex Iacob, the photographer behind UskLight, based in Newport, South Wales. Photography, for me, has always been about people and moments, the way a single frame can hold a feeling long after the day has passed. That is what pulled me into it, and it is still what keeps me behind the camera. I work mainly in portraits and events, and I am currently completing a master's degree in photography, which pushes me to keep learning, keep questioning, and keep raising the standard of every shoot. The way I work is relaxed and collaborative. I want people to feel comfortable, not posed into something stiff, so that what comes back is honest and true to them. Whether it is a portrait session or a busy event, I bring an editorial eye, a lot of care, and a genuine love for the work.
